Responsibilities

  • Develop methods and perform integrated circuit (IC) fault isolation to identify failure locations/modes.
  • Conduct research to develop and identify new fault isolation techniques.
  • Perform electrical bench testing and interpret ATE data logs to localize electrical failures.
  • Develop, characterize, and optimize fault analysis techniques and tools.
  • Write detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each technique used.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate findings.
  • Adhere to SIGMA DESIGN Core Values and pass a post-offer background verification.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in board design and electrical fault isolation method development.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical fault isolation and defect characterization tools.
  • In-depth understanding of digital and analog circuits, device physics, and IC/PCB fabrication processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to SIGMA DESIGN Core Values.
  • Ability to work in a standard lab/production environment and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
