Responsibilities
- Collaborate with analysts and design teams to ensure compliance with tower design and manufacturing processes.
- Develop production procedures and manage the transition of parts from development to production.
- Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of systems and tooling.
- Implement design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency.
- Create CAD models and prints for flight and tooling components.
- Act as the on-site engineering contact for building parts and assemblies efficiently.
- Maintain build schedules and resolve manufacturing discrepancies in collaboration with the quality team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on project experience with mechanical systems.
- 2+ years of manufacturing design experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in aerospace/mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with large steel structure construction and pressurized systems.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
