Internship, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing (Summer 2025)

This internship position at Tesla is designed for students pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. The role focuses on supporting the Quality Engineering Team in ensuring high-quality product production through continuous improvement of processes and systems.

• Monitor manufacturing processes and manage quality data systems.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and best practices.
• Perform design engineering analysis and review engineering documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and document findings.
• Manage defective products through problem definition and resolution tracking.
• Develop and implement revised processes using Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with various teams to meet quality standards.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior internship experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proven ability to complete assignments successfully.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a team environment.
