Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing technical readiness through process optimization and fixture validation.
- Coordinate with factory teams for fixture and equipment design and qualification.
- Ensure processes meet product specifications and are verified via process control.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma and DFX methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Conduct DOEs and FA to resolve manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving methods.
- Drive cross-functional work on rapid development cycles for optimal product design.
- Provide project status and issue tracking reports regarding development progress.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in moderate to high volume consumer electronics.
- Experience with ultrasonic welding, adhesives, and assembly of small battery-powered electronics.
- Understanding of injection molded plastic part principles and defect modes.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles for process quality evaluation.
- Proven track record in qualifying manufacturing processes and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for fixture design.
