Responsibilities
- Research vision to determine focus areas for efforts.
- Research delivery by proving or disproving strategies using offline data or in the lab.
- Conduct production studies to gain insights from production data or ad-hoc experimentation.
- Build large-scale models using data from various tasks and scenes.
- Experiment on prototypes in the lab.
- Run wide-scale A/B tests on robots in Amazon facilities.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and program managers.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building models for business applications.
- PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML, or related fields.
- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier conferences or journals.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, and high-performance computing.
- Experience with Unix/Linux is preferred.
- Background in professional software development is a plus.
