Responsibilities
- Participate as a key team member on design projects.
- Conduct mechanical designs for water and wastewater conveyance and treatment plants.
- Prepare process and instrumentation diagrams and functional narratives.
- Select pipes, pumps, and valves for process designs.
- Perform engineering analyses including planning studies and hydraulic modeling.
- Prepare engineering design drawings and specifications for treatment facilities.
- Mentor early-career staff and manage small- to medium-scale design projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (required).
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical/process design (required).
- Advanced degree and E.I.T. Certification preferred.
- Experience with modeling/design tools such as AutoCAD (preferred).
- Prior experience in engineering consulting and project management preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (required).
- Capability to obtain P.E. License within one year preferred.
