Responsibilities
- Provide process and measurement support for vehicle and engine testing.
- Understand system-level interactions to support existing systems and create new designs.
- Manage full cycle project management from defining requirements to commissioning.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and technical solutions for test programs.
- Collaborate with engineering groups, suppliers, and plant personnel to deliver projects.
- Support remote manufacturing sites in their test operations and facilities.
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
Job Requirements
- BSME + 3 years experience, BSMET + 5 years experience, or AS/AAS/AES in a mechanical field + 10 years experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project.
- Knowledge of data acquisition systems and ability to read/create P&IDs, schematics, and drawings.
- Awareness of PLC logic and controls.
- Ability to understand complex systems.
- Preferred knowledge of Siemens NX, Rockwell Automation, and EPA test methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate diverse project aspects.
