Responsibilities
- Design and implement state-of-the-art solutions for complex problems.
- Collaborate with research and robotics experts to run experiments and improve analytics.
- Partner with technology leaders to solve business problems scientifically.
- Build tools and insights to enhance customer experience.
- Quantify system performance at scale and expand analysis capabilities.
- Evolve key performance indicators and conduct experiments to identify root causes.
- Engage with software development teams to drive the evolution of the Amazon Robotics system.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- 1+ year of relevant experience in Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, or related fields.
- 1+ year of experience with data querying languages, scripting languages, or statistical software.
- Preferred: 1+ years in a data scientist role and 2+ years in a data/research scientist role in an internet-based company.
