Electrical Engineer II

The role involves working as an Electrical Engineer at Sierra Space, focusing on the research, design, development, testing, certification, deployment, and improvement of advanced products and services related to aerospace and space exploration.

• Research and design advanced mission payloads and electronic systems.
• Develop and test electronic circuit card assemblies and integrated systems.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Conduct hands-on hardware testing using standard electrical test equipment.
• Participate in system integration of complex systems.
• Analyze and compose Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) and circuit modeling.
• Ensure compliance with industry-standard electrical design principles.

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
• Experience in digital or analog circuit design.
• Understanding of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) and compatibility.
• Exposure to the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
