Responsibilities
- Conduct studies on customer proposals for connector systems.
- Develop connector systems based on customer input, production specifications, test data, and standard engineering practices.
- Detail drawings, coordinate building of prototype products, and testing.
- Develop manufacturing processes for newly designed parts.
- Design and detail tools for making components or for assembly.
- Resolve problems related to assigned projects by collaborating with vendors, customers, and shop personnel.
- Ensure final designs meet functional and performance specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 3-7 years of related experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data.
- Proficiency in computer-assisted engineering and design software.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Understanding of mathematical concepts and technical instructions.
