Responsibilities
- Learn and apply systems engineering approaches to ASE systems development.
- Develop, maintain, and update system performance and design requirements.
- Define and support Qualification and Product Acceptance testing.
- Support transition to manufacturing and production troubleshooting.
- Provide engineering support for deployed on-orbit systems.
- Collaborate across Engineering and Operations teams, including mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Experience in professional engineering or engineering research/R&D role.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering or related field is desired.
- Experience with spacecraft electric propulsion systems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering, integration & test.
- Familiarity with systems engineering software tools (e.g., JAMA, DOORS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
