Responsibilities
- Partner with design engineering and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for flight hardware.
- Develop and validate Lean test and inspection processes for products.
- Monitor products and processes during production ramp-up using quality tools.
- Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Investigate failures in production, test, and flight to improve reliability.
- Provide guidance on quarantining and rework activities for non-conforming products.
- Support continuous improvement and Lean production through standard guides and process optimization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering role.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (preferred).
- Knowledge of quality tools and Lean principles.
- Experience with complex mechanical/structural assemblies and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
