Noah Medical is seeking a Senior Robotics and Controls Engineer to contribute to the development of their next-generation medical robotic platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement control algorithms for robot behavior
- Translate clinical user needs into hardware and control system specifications
- Develop and maintain production control software and unit tests
- Conduct experiments to evaluate control system functionality
- Collaborate with product development team to create safe medical products
- Diagnose and debug software issues in motion control and real-time performance
- Contribute to risk analysis and documentation of medical products
Job Requirements
- M.S. degree with 1 year of relevant working experience or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical, Controls, Robotics, or related Engineering discipline
- Theoretical and practical experience in robot manipulator kinematics, dynamics, feedback control, sensors, and actuators
- Experience in control system development, modeling, and implementation on hardware systems
- Proficiency in modern C++ development and software design patterns
- Ability to work independently and solve challenging problems
- Strong communication skills and ability to empower team members through documentation
