Responsibilities
- Work on cutting-edge algorithms for robotics
- Collaborate with a smart team of doers to solve real-world challenges
- Contribute to projects involving autonomous mobile robots, robot manipulators, and computer vision identification technologies
- Work on high-impact projects within robotics research
- Allocate resources to complete a million orders a day
- Coordinate the motion of thousands of robots
- Identify objects and damage in warehouse settings
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Must be based in the United States with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later
- At least 1 year of relevant academic research or industry experience within robotics, computer vision, machine learning, optimization, manipulation, perception, motion planning and controls, movement, autonomous navigation, path planning, or related fields
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely
- Strong algorithm development experience
