Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering of electro-mechanical components, ensuring product excellence.
- Support and develop proof of concept work for new technologies.
- Oversee the complete life-cycle development of electronics and interface with design teams.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions for performance and cost.
- Lead product development activities, including PDRs and CDRs.
- Collaborate with program management to ensure timely delivery of components.
- Maintain component and system-level DVPRs and ensure test execution.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in vehicle level component programs.
- Strong knowledge of supplier processes and manufacturing standards.
- Good understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals and electro-mechanical background.
- Familiarity with automotive hardware/software development processes.
- Experience with Tier 1 suppliers for product delivery.
- Understanding of PLM and component release cycles.
