Manufacturing Engineer (Starlink Aviation)

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at Starlink Aviation, a division of SpaceX, focused on providing fast, reliable internet through a global satellite network.

• Develop processes for manufacturing civilian-facing flight hardware
• Collaborate with a team to build, test, and certify parts for various airframes
• Design tooling and fixturing to improve assembly and yield
• Lead prototype builds for new airframes and ensure production milestones are met
• Eliminate manufacturing defects and write detailed production planning

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years of hardware manufacturing experience
• Experience with aviation hardware and FAA systems
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and testing hardware
• Expertise in transitioning products from prototype to volume production
• Clear communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders
