Mechanical Design Engineer, Interiors

The role is for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Tesla's Vehicle Engineering Team, focusing on Interior Engineering for future Tesla vehicle product lines.

• Engineer and execute world-class interior systems
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams throughout the product cycle
• Implement processes for automotive interior craftsmanship
• Complete and release interior designs and components
• Utilize DFSS methodologies during program design and launch
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Ensure interior system feasibility and serviceability

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3-10 years of experience in product development/design engineering
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of design technologies and complex assemblies
• Excellent communication and creativity
• Experience with engineering principles in design, prototyping, and production
