Gigafactory Texas is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to support Cell manufacturing in accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy.
Responsibilities
- Perform energy audits and provide energy usage calculations
- Maintain risk analysis of electrical distribution system
- Prepare engineering specifications and evaluate bids
- Coordinate downtime activities between departments
- Establish standards for Emergency Power Supply System and high voltage electrical systems
- Drive electrical distribution improvement projects
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in building high-tech infrastructure and operational facilities
- Knowledge of medium voltage equipment and OSHA/NFPA codes
- Familiarity with NETA and NFPA 70B standards
- Understanding of industrial facility utility systems
- Budget management skills
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
