Responsibilities

  • Own the production, assembly, and testing of propulsion, environmental, and thermal control system components.
  • Create assembly and test work instructions, design fixtures, and tooling for high-rate production.
  • Design, manufacture, and maintain automated high-pressure test equipment.
  • Question existing requirements and lead creative changes to production processes and hardware.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, build and test technicians, and vendors to ensure manufacturability.
  • Resolve manufacturing and test discrepancies while interfacing with the quality team.
  • Support component-level testing, including proof and leak tests, fluid flow, and functional checkouts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or physics.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
  • Experience with developing production processes or factory optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, building, and testing hardware.
  • Understanding of fundamental principles in fluid systems and solid mechanics.
  • Ability to pass Air Force background checks and travel as needed.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends.
