Responsibilities
- Own the production, assembly, and testing of propulsion, environmental, and thermal control system components.
- Create assembly and test work instructions, design fixtures, and tooling for high-rate production.
- Design, manufacture, and maintain automated high-pressure test equipment.
- Question existing requirements and lead creative changes to production processes and hardware.
- Collaborate with design engineers, build and test technicians, and vendors to ensure manufacturability.
- Resolve manufacturing and test discrepancies while interfacing with the quality team.
- Support component-level testing, including proof and leak tests, fluid flow, and functional checkouts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, building, testing, or troubleshooting hardware.
- Experience with developing production processes or factory optimization.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, building, and testing hardware.
- Understanding of fundamental principles in fluid systems and solid mechanics.
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks and travel as needed.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends.
