Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical design, analysis, and performance evaluation of Mechatronics products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product specifications and evaluate performance.
- Utilize rapid prototyping for design iteration and hands-on work in the Mechatronics lab.
- Work with suppliers to meet performance and cost objectives for parts.
- Drive technical innovation and file invention disclosures for new ideas.
- Develop materials for design reviews and establish test criteria for automated product testing.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement continuous improvement methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering; Master’s degree or 3 years of industry experience required for level 2.
- Strong design background and engineering skills.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (CREO, NX) and FEA applications (Creo Simulation, COMSOL).
- Experience in designing test stands and data acquisition.
- Familiarity with machining practices, sheet metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team under aggressive deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
