Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and design methods for partitioning and loading microliter-scale volumes of single-cell suspensions.
- Utilize rapid prototyping techniques (including 3D printing) to build functional prototypes.
- Design and execute experiments to validate concepts using microscopy-based tools.
- Collect, process, and analyze experimental data to derive actionable conclusions.
- Present findings, technical challenges, and proposed next steps to the engineering team.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a graduate program in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- General lab experience and familiarity with standard lab equipment.
- Knowledge of optical microscopy and image analysis software.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing or microfabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis or scripting.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and mass transport phenomena.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
