Responsibilities
- Design and execute testing suites for evaluating piezoelectric pump performance.
- Develop protocols to characterize pump behavior under various conditions.
- Analyze lifecycle data to identify failure modes and robustness of components.
- Build and maintain custom test benches with sensors and data acquisition systems.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical teams for component integration.
- Author a technical whitepaper and present findings to R&D leadership.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program in relevant engineering fields.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics; microfluidics experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as MATLAB or Python.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and DAQ hardware.
- Ability to communicate complex data in clear technical reports.
- Previous internship or research experience in hardware validation or medical devices preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software for designing test fixtures.
